Made for Seiko's latest association with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), this collaboration combines the iconic Seiko Turtle design and the contrasting blue and red colors of the PADI logo which gives us one of the most striking dive watches of the last 10 years.

Seiko's "Turtle" Design originates from the 1976 Seiko reference 6306-7000/1, Originally available in a black dial only. The watch only gained fame by being featured in James Cameron's 1989 film, The Abyss. It appears on the wrist of Ed Harris' character through out the film which is set underwater.

Collector's coined the name, "Turtle", by the watches' cushion design which smoothly curves into the bracelet. The shell represented by the bezel & dial while the lugs act as the feet of a turtle poking out of it's shell. Turtles also live in water, which this watch can definitely do as well.
